Our story

How we set out to build a better way to measure customer experience

2019

Where it started

The idea began with a problem we kept running into: measuring customer satisfaction properly was either easy and shallow, or thorough and unusable. We wanted something that was both straightforward to run and technically serious.

2020

Building the platform

We built the first version of RateHex around a capable survey engine, on secure multi-tenant architecture with row-level security from the start.

2021

Growing the platform

We added support for smart feedback devices and integration with external systems, and the range of organisations relying on the platform widened.

2024

Where we are now

We continue to develop the platform on .NET 8 and current technology.
